The Fondazione Adkins Chiti: Donne in Musica has undersigned a project with the musicologist Vilma Campitelli for the preparation of a catalogue of all works written with/for/using flute, written by women composers.
The music may be in any style, genre, with or without tape, multimedials and may use flute in any form (from ethnic to bass flute) with or without other instruments including voice and orchestra - ie from solo flute to flute concerti.

VILMA CAMPITELLI, musicista e ricercatrice, sta preparando per conto della Fondazione "Donne in Musica" (Fiuggi, ITALIA), un catalogo dal titolo "Compositrici nella letteratura per Flauto".
Il lavoro ha già archiviato oltre 4000 opere e 1300 nomi provenienti dai 5 continenti comprese nel periodo storico dal XIV-XX sec.
Ogni compositrice è invitata a comunicare, in breve tempo possibile, al sotto indicato E-mail:

i propri lavori dove sia compreso almeno 1 Flauto al fine di poter essere inserite nella pubblicazione che si terrà fine 2000.
I lavori dovranno contenere le seguenti informazioni:
- NOME e COGNOME della compositrice, breve CURRICULUM con riferimenti possibili alla data di nascita e nazionalità;
- TITOLO del brano, FORMAZIONE STRUMENTALE, PUBBLICAZIONE o riferimenti al manoscritto.

VILMA CAMPITELLI musician and findist is writing a catalogue for "Donne in Musica" Foundation (Fiuggi, ITALIA), its title is "Women composers in Flute litterature".
This work has got yet more then 4000 works and 1300 names come from 5 continents with reference to storic period betwen XIV°-XX° sec.
